The spectrum of my professional experience ranges from selling newspapers at Munich Central Station to editorial and journalistic activities to teaching German and social studies as well as history at high school.

Writing and editing, whether literary or journalistic, were and are my passion. Therefore, I attach great importance to the content and language of the articles on this blog being professional.
Literature, politics and history were and are my favorite areas of interest.

The original idea, the nucleus of "RememberRelateReflect" comes from my teaching experience. Contemporary witness projects not only on National Socialism, but also on life in the GDR and the FRG during the Cold War, interviews on the protest movement in the GDR and document analyzes of cases from Stasi files, questioning of contemporaries of the 1968ers... met with great interest among the young people interest and emotional involvement.

History is passed on through stories. Political understanding is sharpened by experiences of others. Opinion formation takes place in the confrontation with well-founded other opinions.

That's what I want to achieve on our blog, RememberRelateReflect.
