Welcome to our Blog

Many people of our age are probably in a similar situation to both of us, the operators of this blog RememberRelateReflect.

We have experienced and seen a lot and would like to share our memories, experiences, feelings and insights with others. However, we see ourselves not only as contemporary witnesses of times long past, but also as contemporary witnesses of the future.

Remember

It was our time that shaped and guided us, laid paths and opened or closed doors. We sometimes willingly and sometimes reluctantly followed the zeitgeist and grew into our culture. We accepted what seemed inevitable, resisted some things and changed some things. This is reflected in the individual stories. This is living history.

Relate

Almost all people look back from time to time, reminisce about the past, reflect on their life and tell anecdotes and stories about how life played out for them. Memories, however, are often only passed on orally, becoming increasingly blurred as the story is told and finally fading away completely. But even gifted storytellers often do not dare to put their stories in writing. We can and want to help with that!

Reflect

Every memory encourages thought, and every conscious perception of its time stimulates reflection. Seeing yourself as a witness to the past, but also to the present, corresponds to the flow of life. Today we experience tomorrow's memories.

We would like to encourage people of our generation, but also older and younger, to record their stories for the future, publish them on our blog with our support and share them with our readership.
